Two pretty HUGE changes

Hi Everyone,

There are two big changes in my life that I’m excited to share about!

1. I have taken a new position at Adventures in Missions as the Creative Director. This means I oversee all visual storytelling and voice of Adventures and The World Race. This is an awesome honor. I’ve grown a lot in the last year and a half, and I’m happy to step into this role. I have a ton to learn. I will still have a hand in creating videos, and my passion for video hasn’t gone anywhere, but I will play a different role in day to day operations at work. 

I’m very thankful to everyone who has supported my work thus far. However, in the future, involvement will look different because I will no longer be fundraising for my job. Because I will not be traveling to the field to film, it is not required. However, in order to complete my commitments for the 2017 fiscal year, I need another $500 before October 1. This is about two weeks away. Thank you to everyone who has already supported me. I want to honor the financial commitments I made in the last year and finish well. If you can donate, that would be incredibly appreciated. 

2. I am moving! I’m still in Gainesville (Northeast Georgia), however I will now be house mentoring for the Center for Global Action. CGA is a second year program for recent World Race Alumni. It’s a discipleship and educational program that emphasizes growing more specific skills. There are multiple tracks and they can focus on leadership, worship and several others. Part of the program is provided housing, lead by house mentors. So, Maybe (my dog) and I will be leading a house – think low-key college RA. It’s a great house on lots of land (Maybe is high-key pumped about this). It’s awesome opportunity, and I’m VERY excited about it!
