I went to a Penny and Sparrow concert the other night. They’re two singer-songwriter guys – one has long hair, plays the guitar, and harmonizes like a boss, and other does the majority of the singing and has a killer mustache. While explaining one of the earlier songs in the show, the mustache singer starts to describe the song as particularly for lovers. Then he changes his mind, and wants the song to be relatable to anyone. He continues to back track in his description as the crowd laughs at his attempt to make the song universal. The guitar player with his long hair in a bun cuts in and says affectionately, “This is… a song.” and he proceeds to start playing. Cue audience laughter.

That’s where I am right now. World Race Films is making videos with the goal of things being very relatable while at the same time using a specific story or art form to inspire. I hope everyone can watch our videos and on some level see the beauty of our joy and struggle in this human experience.
